મૂળ વિચાર
મારા શિક્ષકો હંમેશા કહેતા કે, તું જેટલું કરી શકે છે એટલું કરીને અટકી ન જતો; દરેક કામમાં થોડું વધારે અને પોતાનું શ્રેષ્ઠ આપવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરજે. માત્ર સારા ગુણ મેળવવાથી સફળતા મળતી નથી; સારો માણસ બનવું પણ એટલું જ જરૂરી છે. પુસ્તકી જ્ઞાન સાથે મહેનત, સાદગી અને સારા વર્તનનું મહત્વ સમજાવનાર મારા શિક્ષકોની આ શીખ જીવનભર જાળવવાનો મારો સતત પ્રયત્ન રહ્યો છે.
English context
Teachers do more than impart knowledge. They encourage us not to stop at what is merely possible, but to give a little more and bring our best to every effort. Their deeper lesson is that marks alone do not define success; hard work, simplicity, good conduct and humanity shape a meaningful life.
